Saroj Khan Gets Trolled For Her Insensitive Comment On Casting Couch
Bollywood’s senior choreographer Saroj Khan shocked everyone with her comment on casting couch. Now, she is being trolled for her insensitivity...
Bollywood’s senior choreographer Saroj Khan shocked everyone with her comment on casting couch in a video that surfaced last night.
The choreographer defended casting couch in the industry and also said that women can avoid assault if they choose so.
During an event, when Mrs. Khan was asked about Telugu actor Sri Reddy’s protest against casting couch, she said, “Ek baat batau ye to chala aa raha hai baba adam ke zamane se. Har ladki ke upar koi na koi haath saaf karne ki koshish karta hai.Government karti hai. Government ke log karte hain to tum film industry ke peeche kyun pade ho? Wo to roti to bhi deti hai, rape karke chorr to nahi deti.”
Soon after, Sophie Choudhary took to social media and expressed her anger on her statement.
Her tweet read, “WTH?!!!! So much respect for Saroj-ji as a choreographer but this is how she uses her position to protect girls?!!! If I didn’t come from a financially sound background I would have returned to London within a month of being in mumbai cos of “industry folk” who think like that!!” “Can’t begin to think what thousands of girls go through in the hope that their “dreams” will come true! Nobody wants to sleep with someone for work. But they are made to feel it’s the only way & “acceptable”. And for those who don’t, it’s a tough road! This has to stop! #TimesUp”

Further, the ace choreographer received a lot of flak from netizens especially since it came from a woman.
One of the tweets read, “Do people like these say such things for public attention or do they really mean it? 🤔 #SarojKhan #Bollywood.”

Another user said, “#SarojKhan's question would have be fair had she asked, with consent or without, why do they purchase those without #talent?

While another user asked B-Townies a question, “WILL THE PEOPLE OF BOLLYWOOD NOW FEEL EMBARRASSED FOR THIS POOR STATEMENT OF #SarojKhan ? WILL THESE PEOPLE ONCE AGAIN TAKE PICTURE WITH THE SAME POSTER STANDING IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA AND WILL WRITE IN IT IN THAT "I AM A HINDUSTANI & I AM EMBARRASSED ON #SarojKhan's STATEMENT?"

Jitna Inka wajan hai inki baatein utni hi onchhi hai..she is not promoting hard work for success but compromise..
Nothing to be surprised on #SarojKhan statement. Bollywood is basically a high class Prostitution world with cocktail of Underworld which keep people intoxicated & diverted.

Saroj Khan: If you give roti after rape then it's not a rape.

Bollywood : If you do charity and kill someone then you are not a murderer.
Judiciary : Hum to chu*** hai
In an attempt to cover-up the dirty realities of her industry, Saroj Khan ended up defending the indefensible. Flesh-trade for marginal gains even if consensual, sets a bad trend and is going to be very damaging to one’s self-esteem in the long run. Nothing to be proud of.
